Juliana Liu joined BBC World as a reporter and producer in January 2006, and has since reported from across Asia for Asia Business Report and World Business Report.
In Beijing, Juliana and her team won several major scoops – including the appointment of President Hu Jintao and all the members of the Politburo standing committee in 2002. She was also the only correspondent to capture the wake of deposed Prime Minister Zhao Ziyang on video. Juliana also spearheaded the coverage of China"s technology and telecoms sector, filing many beats and exclusives, including Amazon.com"s entry to the China market.
